Bob Schoen, Training Manager and Instructor for Blast Cleaning Technologies, focused on a complete review of current processes and finishing practices. Training was held with operators, maintenance and managers.

Cast Expo 2016 was a tremendous success for Blast Cleaning Technologies.  We appreciate all of the customers who visited us to discuss their specific blast cleaning projects.  The BCT Drum Blast System sparked a lot of interest and discussion about replacing older shot blast systems.

Bill Rome Hired as Purchasing Manager

Blast Cleaning Technologies is very pleased to announce that Bill Rome has joined the BCT team as Purchasing Manager.  Bill has more than 25 years of industrial purchasing experience in metal castings, fabrications, machining and forgings.  He has proven success in managing a purchasing department while extensively reducing material costs.  Bill has worked with virtually all aspects of corporate procurement.  His strong negotiating skills, along with oversight of the bidding process, have resulted in favorable vendor contracts with previous companies.

As BCT’s new Purchasing Manager, Bill oversees the planning, budgeting and scheduling for all facility and equipment maintenance, modifications and acquisitions.  He will be leading the company in developing world class purchasing strategies and supplier development.

Blast Cleaning Technologies is very pleased to announce that Brian Kuptz has joined the BCT team as Territory Sales Manager. Brian has more than 7 years of industrial business experience in metal casting, mass finishing and general surface finishing. Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management and has spent the last 7 years in sales and project management. He has been very active with Industrial Organizations including AFS, North American Die Casting Association and Mass Finishing Job Shop Association.

Brian will be responsible for territory sales in the Midwest United States and work closely with customer service, outside sales and service to support and grow our customer base in this region.

“Brian has years of industrial experience and his strong knowledge of aftermarket parts brings the expertise needed to support our growing customer base. His attention to detail as it relates to process development and process improvements will be a tremendous asset to strengthen our sales organization.
